We had a blast at Spoke! Thanks so much to Ben and his team for hosting – not to mention providing the pizza, salad, and drinks. We also would like to thank Spoke for hosting us on their go Live day! An exciting day all around.

Ben announced a project he is working on called itkit.io. IT Kit is a place to discover top IT software and services for managing your network, security, communication and more at work – curated by IT pros on a weekly basis. If you would like to contribute, then please do not hesitate to reach out to Ben. You can find the public roadmap in trello.

This month our talk was by Tom Bridge from MacDMV & Mac Admins Podcast. We were lucky enough to catch Tom while he was on vacation here in the Bay Area. Tom gave a great talk labeled, “A Case Study in Two Venues.”

Tom detailed two venues that were wi-fi constrained and needed fixing:  Merriweather Post Pavilion and The Anthem. He articulated his process of planning, design, and execution. By the end of the presentation, the critical take away was “Own What’s Yours.”
